It is with pleasure that we welcome you to the Office of the Procurement Ombudsman website. Our job is to promote Fairness, Openness and Transparency in federal procurement.

On December 15, 2010, Minister Rona Ambrose announced the nomination of the new Procurement Ombudsman, Mr. Frank Brunetta. This appointment was effective January 4, 2011.

Applying the legislation that created us and the Regulations that guide us, we are here to work with all of the stakeholders in federal procurement, using whatever approach is best suited to the circumstances, to make federal procurement better for all stakeholders.
